The Wonderkid Conundrum: Our First Podcast
Two weeks ago we decided to do a podcast. “yeh, that would be a good idea” were the words echoing out of my mouth.
“Lets do it on wonderkids, people love wonderkids!” was the sentence that followed.
Cutting a long story short, we have, its finished and although the sound quality isn’t the best and our nerves are certainly on show for the first few minutes we are definitely happy with the content.
In the ‘poddy’ we discuss what we have called the ‘Wonderkid Conundrum’.
The Wonderkid Conundrum is the situation you find yourself in when deciding which youngsters to buy, which ones are worth the money and which ones to avoid. In the podcasts are some real life examples, some wonderkids who really take the bull by the horns and deserve a place in the first team of the top clubs in the world.
It’s the wonderkid equivalent of our ’12 players better than Messi’ ebook.
And of course, there’s a few who are not good enough but would still fit under the ‘wonderkid’ banner and cost you many-millions to buy.
Also included in the 40 minute podcast is an interview with a sports journalist, author and avid FM player for over a decade. We discuss what he thinks needs to be included in Football Manager 2014 and why, believe it or not Womens’ football is one thing! Shocker.
