Like you, I also tend to find my own players rather than rely on scouts to suggest players I should sign. Although, I do tend to rely on my scout for reports on players that I do find to how good they are and if they will fit into my team. The less experienced the scout is, the less accurate his report will be which I found out the hard way. Well, they do say you learn from your mistakes.
